Here at DragTrade HQ, we're busy fiddling with things...in particular, the site category structure. TG Brighton 2007, 'The South Coast’s
Premiere Transgendered Event' Returning for its fourth triumphant year, Miss TG Brighton moves to a more prestigious venue to create a glamorous evening of fun and celebration that blurs the boundaries between boy and girl. Dragtrade is pleased to be sponsoring a prize at this year's event: a fabulous photomakeover session for two. Good luck to all the contestants! (By the way, whoever wins our prize, we'd like to post up your picture on our site!) Miss TG Brighton aims to raise the profile of transgendered folk and the issues they face to the wider community by creating an entertaining event for everyone. The competition also raises funds for local charities, both LGBT and mainstream in focus. They have previously raised over £3,000 for worthy causes and intend to double that this year. Contestants come from all over the United Kingdom to participate, and the event even attracts international interest. The audience enjoys a beauty pageant in which transvestites, cross-dressers, drag queens, transgendered and transsexuals display their femininity in an attempt to be crowned either “Miss Mature” or “Miss TG Brighton”. This year's contest will be held at the Pagini Ballroom of the Old Ship Hotel yards from Brighton's famous West Pier on Tuesday 2th October, and will feature transgendered cabaret, makeovers, and moreand an after competition disco. The event begins at 7.00 p.m. and concludes at 01.00 am.DragTrade.com is now back up
